 Brown Girl in the Ring?

I'm a twenty-something Island Soul. As you have probably already guessed, I enjoy the feel of my grass skirt swishing in the tropical breeze, mango margaritas, and long walks on the beach at night. :p Anyone who actually knows a thing or two about me or island life itself would know better. I'm a bit of a rambler at times, but for the most of it, I make perfectly good sense. I'm interested in human rights in every way conceivable, subcultures, social justice, film, poetry (written and spoken word) and music  among other arts, and of course, spirituality (I from the island ya know).

This blog will mostly be about my perspective on life on an overcrowded piece of "paradise" and how it has shaped me and those I know. I'm quite liberal-minded, so bluntly put, expect the unexpected. From time to time I may switch over to ow-er dialect so don't miss a lick!! Fry yourself up some fritters and settle down with a nice venti  glass of cerasee n' swtcha. Drink up!
